I’ve been thinking of writing about La Salsa for weeks, but it’s just today that I get myself up for it.

I’ve been a loyalty guest of La Salsa since I found that they have wooden dance floor which any dancer can enjoy their time. This place is wicked with pictures of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara on the wall. People said it looks like an oversized train carriage. I just knew the other day that a friend of mine from Ecuador is the one who’s in charge of the bar’s decoration. And if you want my comment, I’d like to say it’s chic and very cool to hang out and of course, dance! And there’s nothing to do with the fact that the founder is my friend.

In May 2005, Ricky Martin came to Phuket to aid Tsunami orphans as part of his Ricky Martin Foundation’s People For Children project. After long day of working, He wanted to hang out to somewhere ‘LATIN’ and he chose La Salsa.
You might find yourself pursuing your inner passion in this lively bar as well.

The bar is located next to front parking of Impiana Hotel, just up the road from 3 Spices in Patong. You can fresh up your night with a variety of tapas and cocktails which are well made even though some time I find the portion of each spirit in the drink isn’t right.
